Statues are handmade from casting stone.

It is quite heavy for their size.

 

Statues have some small imperfections due to the nature of their hand crafting. They are barely noticeable and difficult to spot except upon the closest inspection.

- The scarab symbolizes existence, immortality, manifestation, effectiveness, and growth or development, as well as the cycle of birth, spontaneous generation, resurrection, protection, and transformation.

 

SEKHMET:

- Sekhmet is the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection and healing.  She was the protecting aspect of the creator god. Her name, “the Powerful one” or “the One who loves Ma’at”.

 

- She was a protector of the pharaohs of Egypt. Yet she was also a great healer who could cure any illness or disease. She was the patron of physicians and healers.

 

- Sekhmet is a solar deity, sometimes called the daughter of Ra and often associated with the goddesses Hathor and Bastet. Sometimes she is seen as the daughter of Geb (earth), and Nut (the sky).
