The fabulous amulet is a combination of: the “Ankh” symbol with open eye symbolizing eternal life. The square medallion in the opening depicts the god “Heh”. The “Djed column” with four horizontal bars often associated with “Osiris”, the god of the afterlife and also seen as a symbol of stability. The “Was” scepter, depicted in relief on the column, with the head of a jacal. “Was” scepter was used as symbols of power or dominion, and were associated with ancient Egyptian deities such as Set or Anubis as well as with the King.
